Blazing a path in exploration has been part of our DNA since 1936, the year Finnish orienteering expert Tuomas Vohlonen decided to create a more accurate compass, which led him to develop a new method of making compasses with liquid in its inside. Today, Suunto is at the forefront of design and innovation in sports watches, dive computers and instruments used by adventurers around the world.

We are proud that Suunto products can withstand anything, but also that they are designed with an everyday aesthetic, which is a true reflection of our Nordic identity. Suunto’s headquarters and factory remain in Finland.
