Discover the charms of Nepal practicing Trail Running. Live on 12 days together with Núria Picas the adventure of taking a route that connects Kathmandu and the Langtang Valley. Enjoy the wonderful landscapes that the Himalayan trails offer.
A route designed for you to discover all the charms of Nepal: its people, the temples, rice fields, the jungle and, above all, the Himalayas. The idea is simple and tempting, leaving Kathmandu after visiting the great Stupa of Boudhanath, like all the pilgrims who embarked on the routes to the Himalayas did, and after 8 days of trail running reach the Langtang Valley on the border with Tibet. .
We will have Núria Picas as the main guide and all our local staff to close the group and carry the largest backpacks, you will be able to enjoy the trail only with the vest backpack. If one day you want to go at a more relaxed pace or want to come with a companion who wants to do the route on foot, there is no problem.
For the bravest (or resistant to the cold) it is planned to bathe in Lake Gosaikunda (4,380m), home of the gods Shiva and Gauri and mystical place of pilgrimage.
Our host for this route is Núria Picas, ultra-distance runner and winner of some of the most important trail competitions on the international scene. With her as a guide you are guaranteed to have fun and return home with improved trail knowledge and technique.
It’s not about doing a race, it’s about enjoying a leisurely jog along the paths of the Himalayas in a light format.
Day 1
Departure flight to Kathmandu.
day 2
Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon: we can visit the Swayambhu stupa (monkey temple), get lost in the streets of Thamel or have our first Dal bhat dinner (the most traditional dish of Nepali cuisine).
Day 3
Pick up at the hotel early in the morning and transfer of the whole group to the great Stupa of Boudhanat. It is one of the holiest places in Buddhism and also highly revered by Hindus. It is the largest circular Stupa in Eurasia, and is filled with Buddhist schools and Tibetan refugees. Pilgrims must go around the stupa 3 times praying, we will do the same so that it brings us luck all the way ahead.
A bus will take us to Sundarijal (on the outskirts of Kathmandu) where our trek will begin. But if anyone feels like jogging we can run directly from Boudhanath to Sundarijal (we only have to add 8 km to our route today).
Immediately we enter the forest and begin the journey of almost 10km that will take us to the small village of Chisapani at 2,170m.
Trek 1 From Sundarijal to Chisapani (2,170m) (11,2km, +1,118m -320m; 4h) (Optional extension: Depart from Boudhanth +8,5km+202m/-151m)

For those who always want more, we have several extensions to do during the afternoons to ascend to peaks close to our lodges from 3,600 to 5,100m.
As mountain professionals we not only seek the greatest enjoyment, but also the highest possible degree of safety during the activities. For this we will have personal safety and communication equipment and a sufficient first aid kit.
It is essential to have accident and rescue insurance that covers any incident (it is mandatory for all participants). If you don’t have one, we can manage it for you.
