“Why are we doing this?” is a 40-minute documentary film about skiing, climbing and mountaineering. Directed by the Asturian Carlos Llerandi and starring Alexis Ferrera, Pol Tellosa, Jordi Mons, Peru Ortiz and Carlos Llerandi himself. The mountain documentary is divided into three well differentiated parts. A first part of about 10 minutes of skiing and freeride in the Catalan Pyrenees of the Aran Valley. A second section of around 10 minutes of sport climbing in Margalef (Tarragona), one of the best places in the world to practice this sport. And finally, a third part of about 20 minutes of mountaineering in which the youngsters, Alexis Ferrera and Carlos Llerandi, made their first foray into the French and Italian Alps. Among others, of the activities carried out in those 16 days that they spent in the Mont Blanc Massif, they managed to reach the top of the roof of Western Europe via the Arista de la Innominata.
