ITINERARY

Day 1

Acclimatization Route 1, Aiguille de Tour 3540m

We will get up early from Chamonix to enter the valley of Le Tour. From the small town that receives its name, we will run towards the Col de la Balme to gain altitude and find the path that, avoiding rocky spurs, brings us closer to the white and blue of the hanging glacier. After passing through the Albert I refuge, we will set foot on the glacier and continue along it until we cross the upper col de Tour to enter Switzerland, through the Trient glacier. and access the rocky ridge of the needle. With a beautiful climb we will reach this brutal viewpoint that shows us a spectacular view from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. The descent will follow our steps to the refuge, but then we will launch into the valley through an impressive trail.

day 2

Gran Paradiso 4061m

Leaving Chamonix soon and crossing the Mont Blanc tunnel we will move towards Aosta to enter the Gran Paradiso National Park. Here is one of the best known four thousand Alps, which also gives its name to the national park, the Gran Paradiso. A sanctuary for running as it allows, thanks to its well-marked and comfortable paths, to ascend to the glacier quickly and safely. Arriving at the glacier we will already find steeper slopes and usually more icy than those found in Le Tour. Our first four thousand of the week and running.

Day 3

Aiguilles Rouges

A calm ascent in clock time and at the same time a journey of edges that will leave our hearts in the clouds thinking about the abysses that surround the peaks. A day to really begin to think that Mt Blanc is already very close and that our acclimatization has reached the point of beginning to bear fruit. A beautiful and calm day to recover and gain strength.

ROUTE MAP

Day 4

Ascent to the Agulle de Midi and optional short route

Using the mechanical lifts of the valley we will arrive at l’Aiguille du Midi. With all the ascents that we have already carried out, we can opt for different plans: Arista de Cósmicos – mixed ascent of little difficulty and great beauty that is carried out in a relaxed way- or the ascent of the top of Mon Blanc de Tacul.

Day 5

Ascensión Mont Blanc, 4808m
